RealTimeFarms.com - New site for local farmers markets

Saturday, July 17, 2010

Hey, check out RealTimeFarms.com. It looks promising and relies on user content to share pictures and info about local farmers markets. It's pretty sparse right now, but I think it could be pretty cool. Just so you know, I'm not affiliated in away, I just thought it was cool!

New listing! Raw Shanti Bar

Tuesday, May 18, 2010

Hey, I just got an email from the owner of Raw Shanti Bar. I haven't had a chance to try it for myself yet but it sounds amazing. Gluten free, vegan, made from organic fruits and nuts.. oh man. Please someone tell me where I can try it!

Louisville Farmers Market - Last Day!

Saturday, October 17, 2009

Today marks the end of the season for the Louisville Farmers Market. It's been a great season and even though we had a pretty early frost, there's still a lot of local produce to be found. Don't be discouraged at the closing of the farmers market, there are still many small produce stands and farms that will have fall produce available.

New: Clementine Art Kits

Tuesday, September 23, 2008

This is one of the coolest companies I've added so far. I mean, come on, organic Playdough?! That's awesome! All their products are natural, certified toxin-free, and yes, the playdough is organic.

New entry: Topo Ranch

Wednesday, September 10, 2008

New entry on the products page: Topo Ranch - An organic clothing store new to Boulder, opens Sep 20. You can read an article where they are mentioned by the Boulder Examiner. Don't know too much about this company, except they have a store in Venice, California. Quick update on the responses I've received asking for help on Craigslist...wait, nope, I have received ZERO responses. Too bad...

New entry: Sherpa Steve

Saturday, September 6, 2008

New entry on the products page: Sherpa Steve -a company that sells t-shirts to help create awareness about..well, seems like everything! Let me know if you've gotten a shirt from them and tell me what you think. As you might have noticed, there is a bit of a gap between this entry and the previous entry. Very observant ;)I put an ad up on boulder.craigslist.org asking if anyone knows any organic companies I can add to the directory, hopefully I'll learn about some new ones. As always, if you have any reviews or suggestions for the site, please email me at wayne@boulderorganic.org

For Pet Owners

Saturday, January 19, 2008

New entry on the markets page: Only Natural Pet Store is an online Boulder based pet supply store that carries some organic products. Has anyone tried them? If you have, I'd love to hear what you have to say about their service. The past two weeks have been very fun and exciting for me, but unfortunately there just hasn't been enough time to get work done on BoulderOrganic.org. The new job is going really well and as the dust settles I'll be able to spend more time working on this directory. Just in case you were wondering :)

New Addition: emagineGreen

Friday, January 4, 2008

EmagineGreen is the company to go if you want to be green, but don't know where to start. It seems that the lives we lead today have gone so far away from a natural, or 'green', path, that even when we become conscious about wanting to make changes, it can be overwhelming when deciding where to start. That's where EmagineGreen comes in. So give their website a look, and if you have the opportunity to meet with them, please let me know your thoughts about it!Note: EmagineGreen was recommended to me by my little sister, so kudos to her :)A move or residence is in the works for me, so when I 'build' my new home, I want it to be as geen as possible. I really hope that I will be able to try out emagineGreen's services to help with this, so *tentatively* look for an article by me someday on what my experience was like (I know, wierd tense use in that sentence!)On a technical note, I've submitted BoulderOrganic.org to dmoz.org, the largest human-edited directory of the web. I don't expect a response anytime soon due to the sheer volume of entries they must wade through, but cross your fingers for BoulderOrganic.org! Hopefully it's accepted :)
